Usama bin Laden Dead

It probably sounds bad, but I'm a little jealous of the guys who cracked bin Laden. All of us in the military wish we could have done it -- but the boys in SEAL Team 6 are a Tier 1 force, and that's what they do. Good on 'em! This is what happens when you let us loose on our enemies...
No time to rest, however. While bin Laden was important, he's only one of many. This isn't ending soon, and the people praising ( rightfully) President Obama while trashing President Bush when he was trying to fight the war better get their sh#t together. We're onto you -- always have been. Now stay out of our way...

Its nice to see him finally brought down. His death was quick and painless, compared to his victims. Hopefully this will be a small consolation to people who have had friends and family killed by his actions.

Unfortunately, Usama bin Laden is just one. That evening, there was someone else to pickup where he left off.. your are right, killing him was quick and painless and that is MOST unfortunate. He should have been tried as a fanatic criminal he was. Humiliated, and caught would have served better. Now we are forever fighting the endless succession of 'next'! Terry is right, I've fought in Iraq and know, it is far from over...pull out or not. They have 2000 years + of holy war-jihad methodology and psychology and most likely 2000 More. They are taught from age of 7 or so, it isn't a simple .."we win" or we have more guns, more soldiers, better technology.... better tactics or stratagy... this is something more deeper.... sure we can shoot and kill or bomb the people... but it is a whole other issue to kill someone belief system.The essence of who they are. You can get rid of a body... but what do you do with a soul???? A civilization, thousands of years old?????
