The Mission of JRT is to map; document; search; and, hopefully; recover and repatriate American Service Members
Killed In Action (KIA) Body Not Recovered (BNR) from World War II.
Our first mission will take place in Saipan at the end of July thru mid-August 2018. The TFD portion of the team is made up of a joint group of Special Operations members (Army, Navy, and Air Force Special Operations). The TFD leadership is Keith David, TFD Managing Director; Greg Knauer, TFD Operations Manager; Terry Schappert, TFD Ambassador; and Mark Stephens, TFD Executive Board Member. The TFD team has a mix of visible and invisible injuries. With the support of SCUBAPRO, we will be able to fully equip the team with state of the art gear to address their individual needs while conducting the mission safely, efficiently, and effectively.
Without your donations, we cannot achieve our Mission supporting the US Special Operations Command’s service members and their families." |
Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation
On August 4, 2014, our friends, the McGill's lost a wonderful father and husband, Ray McGill, to the debilitating and always fatal disease CDJ. Ray was only 62 years old, a retired NJ Police Captain, and diagnosed barely a month before he died with no warning signs.
Less than a year before, fellow Green Beret Sgt. Tim McGill, pictured here with Ray, was killed in Afghanistan on September 21st, 2013. It's been a never ending heartbreak for the McGill family and all who love and care about them. Megan McGill, Tim's younger sister, has started this campaign to honor their Dad, and help support other families touched by this devastating disease. The CDJ foundation is matching all contributions. (click box below to find out more) |

SOWF: Freedom Motorcycle Ride
The 2009 Freedom Bike Ride raised money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation in honor of those who gave their lives to fight terrorism, including five Special Forces soldiers, killed during the units' recent deployment in Afghanistan.
The five day ride left from Mann's Harley-Davidson in Edinburgh, Indiana, and made pit-stops at various Harley Davidson dealerships throughout the North East before ending in Connecticut.
Bikers also stopped at Ground Zero in New York City, where a ceremony took place at the WTC site with other 9/11 groups to raise five flags in honor of the fallen soldiers.
